Dear Parents, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!  Your kids have done a great job so far with the pig dissection.  Their interest continues to grow and their concentration on the task at hand has made all the difference.  I gave them a copy of the study guide for the upcoming test, so hopefully he/she have started at least looking at the information.  That test will be May 20th and its a BIG ONE, so hopefully they will be ready to go when the time arrives! This is our last week of "normal" classes before everything with end-of-the-year stuff is upon us!  Please keep an eye out for the principal updates each Friday.  He does a great job of giving the upcoming activities happening at school. Have a great week!!! Many blessings, Kim

Dear Parents, We are back at it and ready to finish strong!  This time next month we will be literally finishing out the year!  PURE CRAZINESS!!! We start the actual pig dissection this week.  I am so anxious to see how we will do.  The kids have done a great job with the virtual dissection and I hope to see the same effort made with this real experience.  There will be a test on May 20th.  They will receive the study guide this week. I hope to get the electives sheet out to the 7th and 8th graders early next week.  Things will be a little different for next year, so please have the students and yourself look it over carefully. Have a great week! Many blessings, Kim

Happy April Fool's Day!  :) Can you believe we are all ready to enter APRIL?!  I hope that spring break went well for everyone.  It was a much needed break and I am sure that the 7th graders were ready to relax after all the science fair hubbub!  :) We will be finishing up the MAEAR project they are working on in science.  Those are due at the beginning of class on Wednesday, April 10th, along with the self assessment.  After that project, we will start the virtual pig dissection.  This year we're able to set up the computer program on the Chrome Books so the students can work on it independently.  We start the actual pig dissection after Easter break. I look forward to a great spring!  I can't wait to see the school play this upcoming week! Take care, Kim

Dear Parents, I missed last week and I am sorry about that.  We just finished our first full week in quite a while.  We did it! This week is a HUGE week for the 7th and 8th graders, in regards to science fair.  The due dates are based upon last names.  Q-Z are due Tuesday, H-P are due Wednesday and A-G are due on Thursday.  The student must turn in a PRINTED, edited and signed rough draft.  I will be looking for content more than spelling, grammar, etc (that will be when I grade the final paper)...  All parts to the science fair are due the following Thursday, March 7th.  (poster board, paper -rough and final- and a prepared presentation) Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help in anyway. Take care and have a great week! Kim

Dear Parents, What a literal whirlwind of a week last week!  Ms. Christi and Ms. Reischel did an absolutely fantastic job planning a week full of incredibly fun week of crazy activities!!!  Huge thanks go out to them and all those who helped support the activities in any way!  The penny count is in, but we won't know until Mr. Beisser announces the information on Monday. This week, we are going to try to get back into a fairly normal schedule, at least through Wednesday.  The students are getting closer to finishing up gathering their final data for the on-going science fair preparations.  Please check your email for details expectations outlining the next few weeks!  :) We are going skiing on Thursday.  I HIGHLY recommend lots of layers this year, as we just never know what the real weather will be like until the actual day.  Students can take the school busses to school because we will not leave until 8:45 of so.  If you are joining u...
